Republicans can pin the inflation tail on the Democrats unless they fight back with tangible wins that help people in their everyday lives, STRIKE PAC co-founder Dr. Rachel Bitecofer explained during a panel discussion on “Stephanie Ruhle Reports” on MSNBC.
Although President Joe Biden lacks direct control of the economy, Republicans will try to “Jimmy Carter him” on inflation, she said. Democrats can deliver infrastructure and social policy changes to improve the lives of Americans, she said, but the party needs to clearly communicate those wins and remind voters that Republicans largely voted against them.
